Rowing Academy

Super Sports Rowing Academy offers Olympic / Classical rowing (sculling and ‘sweep’ rowing). We have a wide selection of well-maintained rowing boats and cater for ‘first timers / novices’ via our structured ‘Learn to Row’ programmes, through to crew and individual development for experienced rowers.

Our Program

Programs

We offer structured learn to row programmes or development programmes for rowers of all capabilities.

Learn to Row

‘Learn to Row” – Offered to interested junior rowers, adult rowers who wish to learn the sport, and to school students as part of the Extra Curricular Activities. 8 sessions

Corporate Team Building

Corporate Team Building – We offer corporates ‘away day’ sessions where we teach the basics of rowing which is the epitome of teamwork, and all in a well-managed and safe environment.

Squad or Individual Development

Squad or Individual Development – for those rowers who wish to compete as competitive crews we will assist with coaching and development

Social Rowing

Social Rowing – Group row sessions where members simply enjoy rowing in arguably the best venue in Dubai

Membership

Rowing Academy

Rowing is accessible to members of the academy (or members guests by pre-approval). The rowing season runs from 1st October to 30th September and membership is open for rowers above 11 years old.

Membership Payments
2025 to 2026 fees and payment options are as follows:

Full Year Membership AED 4500 +VAT (1st October 2025 to 30th Sept 2026). Due by 10th October.

Payment schedule
• Single payment = 5% discount
• Split payments
o Payment 1 AED 1,500 +VAT by 10th October 2025
o Payment 2 AED 1,500 +VAT by 30th November 2025
o Payment 3 AED 1,500 +VAT by 31st January 2026

For those wishing to join the academy as a member part-way through the season:
• Joining between 1st October and 31st Dec AED 4,500
• Joining between 1st Jan to 31st March AED 3,750
• Joining after 1st April AED 2,750

Note: Junior member fees (<18 yrs old) – discount of 40%

    Facilities

    • The rowing academy is based in the beautiful Palm Jumeirah East Marina.
    • Set within the marina we have a dedicated launch pontoon and boat / equipment racking and storage, toilets, showers and changing facilities.
    • Olympic / classical rowing requires flat and calm water with limited motor boat traffic. With flat water almost guaranteed within the marina area and inside the Palm Jumeirah crescent, there is no better place to row in Dubai!
    • There are also restaurants, bars, coffee shops and supermarket in the marina area, so some great places to relax with fellow crew members after an outing!
